Caroline Lezny is a scriptwriter and storyteller currently based in London, United Kingdom. She recently received a First Class Distinction for her MFA in “Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media” at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

In 2020 Caroline graduated magna cum laude with degrees in English and Film Television & Theatre from the University of Notre Dame, where she served as the Artistic Director for the university’s only entirely student-run musical theatre production company.

Caroline writes for theatre, film, television, and audio. Her play Scarlet Underground shortlisted for the 2023 Theatre503 Playwriting Award and her screenplay Change for Babylon placed in the top 15% of entries in the 2021 Academy Nicholl Competition. Recently her work has been produced by ChewBoy Productions at the Lion & Unicorn Theatre, Platform Production Company as a part of their new series “Cold Cuts,” and at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama’s autumn 2021 New Writing Night. Recent acting credits include Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, Gwendolen Fairfax in The Importance of Being Earnest, Queenie in Lippa’s The Wild Party, Miss Adelaide in Guys & Dolls, and Gussie Carnegie in Merrily We Roll Along.

When she isn’t scribbling in her notebook over a cup of coffee, you can find Caroline baking her own bread or dancing in her apartment with the windows open.
