A politician whose administration has spun out of control. A deputy who won’t take no for an answer. A brother sentenced to die. And the woman who is asked to pay the price.
In a city newly under the control of a power-drunk puritan, the hilarity of bawdy behavior, foolish constables, and mistaken identity ensues—but not without its victims. This modern-day-inspired production of Shakespeare’s final “comedy” will explore government corruption, sexual politics, and violence against women.
Auditions will take place at Hampstead Parish Church:
Thursday 30th March at 19:00 in the Crypt Room
Sunday 2nd April at 19:00 in the Church
